Live Event Setup Drawings
I find drawing out setup diagrams for upcoming events useful for several reasons: They clarify and solidify the technical layout beforehand; Setup is smoother and easier to communicate to other team members; Potential problems or points of failure can also be identified beforehand, allowing for backups, and quick troubleshooting in case of problems; They also are easily archived and referenced for future events, or to demonstrate options to potential clients or partners.
Live Event Setups
The needs and locations of live production are always different, and so are my workstations. Here are some “control rooms” from various events, ranging from virtual production in my home office, to on-set in the studio, to on-location at the event.
