My 32 minute, full-length album was written and recorded over a few years. It’s by no means a magnum opus, but still a creative work I’m very pleased with. I focused on song-structure; I wanted to move through related sections that have different tempos, levels, and feels. I’m also a big fan of the format of an album as a whole; I really worked to make sure there was a sonic connective tissue throughout the project. The visual elements had to be just right too.

Technically, it was fun experimenting with different techniques. None of the drums are programmed, but I did play around with replacing acoustic sounds with different samples. Musically, there’s a few fun time signature changes and interesting chords. The most popular tracks have been “Ocelot”, “Quarry”, and “Snaggletooth”.
